The Margao meet, which is for the benefit of all teachers from South Goa and Ponda, will be held on March 20 at 9.30 am at Loyola High School. The Mapusa meet, aimed at the teachers from the rest of North Goa, will be held at Saraswati Vidyalaya High School, Khorlim-Mapusa, on March 21 at 2.30 pm.
DTF has stated that both meetings are extremely important and has requested all prematurely retired teachers not to miss the same as every teacher has to be given affidavits to submit to the High Court while filling the writ petitions.
It may be recalled that the teachers who were forced to retire prematurely have been protesting for their retirement benefits and pay scales of the Sixth Pay Commission Scales.
