Dubai-based Goan Paloma bags prestigious Diana Award

MARGAO: A proud moment for Goa as Paloma Synora Viegas (17) was awarded the prestigious Diana Award in an online award ceremony held, on Monday. 

Paloma who hails from Loliem, Canacona is presently based in Dubai and is a student of Gems English High School, Dubai.

The Diana Award is established in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales. The award is given out by the charity of the same name and has the support of both her sons, Prince William and Harry, The Duke of Cambridge and The Duke of Sussex. 

Paloma is the daughter of Praveen Viegas and Sunita Sophia Andrade Viegas. She is a mental health campaigner, who built a website under her initiative, “Uninhibited – Talk. Express. Share”.
