MAPUSA: Mapusa Police arrested two accused for attacking a horticulture vegetable supplier and a driver at Verla-Canca, on Wednesday.
The victims sustained minor injuries in the incident.
The two persons arrested were namely Saiesh Govekar and Namesh Gurady, who allegedly attacked the driver and supplier under the influence of alcohol thereby injuring them.
Both the victims were referred to the District Hospital, Mapusa, as they were spotted with minor injuries.
The Mapusa police have registered an offence under Section 336, 323 and 506 (ii) IPC.
Further investigation is in progress under the supervision of Mapusa police inspector.
