VASCO: The Crime Branch, Goa police, in collaboration with the Special Cell of Amritsar Rural Police, apprehended two individuals on Monday morning in Vasco, Sancoale.
The suspects have been identified as Samalval Gurunan Singh, 22, hailing from Amritsar, Punjab, and Amrit Kewal Singh, 22, from Tarn Tarah, Punjab. Both were arrested in connection with murder cases and illegal possession of firearms.
Jadiala police station has filed cases against them under Sections 302, 120B of the IPC, and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act.
The accused individuals were found residing in a rented accommodation in Zuari Nagar, Sancoale.
Samalval Singh, one of the suspects, is linked to four murder cases in the State of Punjab, and he had been absconding since then.
