CURCHOREM: Deputy Chief Minister Chandrakant (Babu) Kavlekar condemned the statement made by Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut declaring that after Maharashtra, a miracle will be seen in Goa.
Kavlekar said that Raut does not have proper knowledge about Goa and that there is a vast difference between Goa and Maharashtra.
Further, in an indirect dig to Goa Forward Party Chief Vijai Sardesai, Kavlekar said, “Some people who were talking about Dr Jack Sequeira are now surrendering with Shiv Sena.”
He added that Raut doesn’t even know the strength of Shiv Sainiks in Goa.
“They do not have even a single member as a panch or Zilla Parishad member in Goa. How can he dream of forming the government in Goa by sitting in Mumbai,” questioned Kavlekar.
He asked Raut not to waste time making such ‘vague’ statements but instead to focus on his govt.
