PANJIM: The provisional results of the VI Economic Census were released by the Directorate of Planning, Statistics and Evaluation at Swami Vivekanand Hall, Panjim, Friday.
Director, DPSE Anand Sherkhane appreciated the efforts of the statistical personnel.
Dr Prabir Kumar Rath, Associate Professor of Geography, Government College Khandola in his address, congratulated the Directorate for bringing out the provisional results in record time. He said that scrutiny and compilation of around 3,46,000 listed records and around 97,000 establishments and bringing out the report in 2 month’s time by the department is a commendable job.
