PANJIM: District & Sessions Court has granted conditional bail to co-promoter of Sunburn Klassique EDM Shailesh Shetty.
His police custody was extended by one week, just a day ago. The Crime Branch had earlier this week arrested Shetty for allegedly helping Bollywood actor Kapil Jhaveri organise the rave party in a villa at Vagator. The court has directed Shetty to furnish personal bail bond of Rs 50,000 and surety of like amount. He has also been asked to appear before the investigation team for 15 days.
The raid, busted on the intervening night of August 15-16, saw the arrest of 23 persons, four of whom were caught in possession of drugs. The seized drugs were worth Rs 9 lakh. Jhaveri and three foreigners, held for narcotics, are remanded to judicial custody.
