MARGAO: When a confident-looking student Sharvani Sambari complained that she scored only 99 marks in accountancy in Std XII examination when she was expecting cent per cent marks, Chief Minister, Manohar Parrikar issued immediate instructions to the Education Director Anil Powar to initiate an inquiry into the claims made by the student. In fact, Sambari told the Chief Minister that she had expected 100 marks in accountancy, but had to be content with only 99 marks. “Since I was disappointed with the result, I applied to check my paper and I found that while two persons had okayed 100 per cent marks, the moderator denied me one mark,” she said.
