PANJIM: Corporation of the City of Panaji Corporator Sheetal Dattapasad Naik has been replaced with Education Secretary to the post of Chairperson of Bal Bhavan. The reconstituted committee has secretary (education) as the new chairperson as per the order issued by the Directorate of Education on Wednesday, July 28, 2021.
The Director of Education, representatives of Art & Culture and Sports & Youth Affairs, under secretary (finance/expenditure) and representative of Department of Health are appointed as the members.
“The Board shall meet at least three times a year. The non-official member will be treated on par with Group ‘A’ Officers of the State of Goa and will be entitled to TA/DA which will be met from the funds of Bal Bhavan,” reads the order.
