MARGAO: Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar announced the formation of children education board.
He made this announcement while addressing the concluding function of the two-day Bal Shikshan Parishad, at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, on Sunday. He said that the board will not be led by politicians but educationists who have worked for the betterment of education.
Later, the chief minister visited Hari Mandir to seek the blessings Vithal Rakhumai on the backdrop of famous Dindi festival, where he announced construction of holiday home at Pandharpur for Goan pilgrims.
