PANJIM: An eight-month-old child from Quepem was amongst the eight deaths on Tuesday taking the COVID19 toll to 468. The child had Glycogen storage disorder type three.
The other victims included a 49-year-old male from St Estevam, 50-year-old-male from Morjim, Pernem, 62-year-old female from Curti Ponda, 46-year-old-female from Corjuem, 58-year-old-male from Mormugao, 75-year-old female from Nagoa and a 61-year-old male from Vasco.
On Tuesday, Goa reported 519 more cases along with 594 recoveries.
Tuesday’s recoveries brought down the total active cases to 4,720.
The total confirmed cases rose to 36,238, while the recoveries now stand at 31,050.
