Rebel Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde has left for Mumbai at 12 noon on Thursday. According to sources he is carrying letters of support of the rebel Sena MLAs and independents. He is scheduled to meet CM in waiting for Devendra Phadnavis and extend his support. Holding a press conference at a Goa hotel, Shiv Sena Sawantwadi MLA Deepak Vasant Kesarkar said that the election mandate was for the Shiv Sena-BJP combine and not for the Mahavikas Agadi govt. He said they are for the progress of Maharashtra and not after any ministerial positions. We have not backstabbed anyone.
