VASCO: Several senior citizens received the first shot of COVID-19 vaccine at the Chicalim Sub District Hospital on Wednesday.
They praised the Health Minister Vishwajit Rane for holding the COVID vaccination drive in government and the private hospitals.
Speaking on the drive, Dr Anil Umraskar of Chicalim Sub District Hospital said several residents of Mormugao have been vaccinated recently.
Stating that around 90 senior citizens received their COVID vaccine shot, he appealed to the public to get themselves vaccinated.
However, he said patients with co-morbidities have to produce a doctor’s treatment certificate if they are facing any health issues and availing any treatment so that the doctors can upload that certificate on the portal.
