VASCO: The Mormugao Municipal Council on Friday decided to hold elections to five committees on July 18 and July 17 is the date for filling nomination for the posts of chairmen of the committees.
The five committees are education, market, sanitation-medical and public health, solid waste management and development.
Chief Officer Gaurish Sankhwalkar told reporters that the objective of the council’s Friday meeting was to fix date for the election of chairmen of these committees.
