PANJIM: The State Electricity Department has warned consumers against falling prey to fraudulent messages asking for bill payment and to disconnect the connections over non-payment.
In a statement issued, the Chief Electrical Engineer (CEE) said that fraud messages for disconnecting of power supply for non-payments of electricity bills are being circulated by unknown persons.
“All are requested not to carry out any payments on the link provided by them or share any details/OTP,” the CEE said.
