PANJIM: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Goa College of Engineering (GEC) and the Indian Plumbing Association (IPA) in the presence of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, at the Secretariat, Porvorim, on Friday.
“The State government has facilitated the signing of MoU between the Goa Engineering College and the Indian Plumbing Association, which will enhance the skills and knowledge of students in the field through the guidance of industry experts,” said Sawant while explaining the details and significance of the MoU.
“The MoU will facilitate exchange of information on the latest developments in their respective areas that are of common interest. Joint work and conducting of programmes will benefit the engineering students. They will work jointly on matters of national interest such as water and sanitation including water conservation, energy efficiency and protection of the environment through safe plumbing standards,” Sawant added.
