BICHOLIM: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Friday said those visitors who have taken both the vaccines should be allowed to enter the State.
“The health workers including doctors have done commendable job during the COVID-19 pandemic,” Vishwajit stated after felicitating doctors, nurses and frontline workers at a function organised by Bicholim Community Health Centre.
“Goa can be kept safe only if we allow only those visitors who have taken both the vaccines,” he informed adding “today we have arranged this programme as the situation is improving”.
He thanked all the health staff for their contribution towards controlling COVID-19 cases. He assured more facilities would be made available soon at the Bicholim CHC. “There will be no reason to shift the patients to North Goa District Hospital Mapusa as soon all the facilities will be made available at Bicholim Community Health Centre,” Vishwajit claimed.
Bicholim MLA Rajesh Patnekar appreciated the health workers who risked their own life to save others.
