Recently, even after bringing to the attention of the authorities concerned regarding the urgent requirement of a sitting shed at the bus stop near Shantadurga High School, Bicholim, it is still pending.
This bus shed which existed all these years was recently dismantled during the trimming of trees in the event of several tree falls during monsoons. All school/college going children besides office going crowd and senior citizens face a tough time standing in the hot sun and monsoon on the road in the absence of this sitting shade.
