Vasco: Former GIDC deputy general manager William Borges expired while undergoing treatment at GMC Friday morning. He had met with accident at Cortalim on Thursday.
According to police, the incident reported around 3.30 pm Thursday when Borges was proceeding to his home at Nuvem after attending court proceeding at Panjim in his car which dashed against an oncoming Kadamba bus near Cortalim slope.
The impact was such that Borges sustained serious internal injuries. He was moved to GMC where he expired.
