Ex-Shiroda MLA is dead

Former MLA and city Businessman, Krishnanath Baburao Naik passed away on Wednesday noon after a brief illness. He was 80 and is survived by his wife Vrunda and children.
Popularly known as K B Naik, he was elected as Member of the Legislative Assembly in 1968 in the by-elections held for the Shiroda constituency.
He was the vice-president of the MGP and headed various political and socio-cultural organizations in the state. His mortal remains will be consigned to flames at the Pajifond crematorium on Thursday at 11 am.
