VASCO: The metal frames of small hoardings positioned at eye-level on electricity poles in Vasco’s F L Gomes Rd area are a threat to two-wheeler riders. “The hoardings of advertisements were placed on the stretch from the temporary fish market on F LGomes road to Vasco Police station.
The advertisements have withered away and all that is left are the metal frames of these hoardings. Since they are placed at such a low height, it poses a threat to motorists, especially two-wheeler riders,” said Polji. He expressed surprise at the Electricity Department for allowing the installation of posters at this height and said that the concerned authorities should be more vigilant with their permits.
