Vasco: The Fair Price Shop Owners from Mormugao have accepted the Point of Sale (POS) machines under protest. The FPSO have said that they are going to face lot of problems if the use of POS machines is made mandatory at the Fair Price Shops.
The Civil Supplies officials today distributed the remaining 39 POS machines out of the 43 machines allotted for various Fair Price Shops. 4 machines have already been distributed to the respective fair price shops. The fair price shop owners have raised concerns over the installation of bio metric system in of POS machines.
