MARGAO: Legal Metrology Department on Monday seized 11 fake helmets being sold near the highway opposite the KTC Bus Stand in Cuncolim.
After receiving a complaint from GOACAN, the officials led by inspector Demu Mapari seized the helmets. The issue of sale of fake helmets was raised by GOACAN during the recent meeting of the South Goa District Road Safety Committee chaired by Member of Parliament Francisco Sardinha.
