PANJIM: The low pressure belt that resulted into cyclonic storm Fani over South-west Bay of Bengal, further moving towards North-westward, may have its minimal impact along Goa coast. The Indian Meteorological department (IMD) has predicted rainfall for next three days.
IMD in its daily forecast released on Saturday has predicted light to very little rain at isolated places of Goa from April 28 to 30. It has said that the weather would remain dry.
However, there is no major weather warning for the State as a result of cyclonic storm, which developed on April 27.
Fani, which is moving at a fast speed, has already brought heavy rains to some parts of South Konkan region.
Meanwhile, the mercury continues to soar as the day temperatures were recorded at 33.6 Degree Celsius, while night temperatures were at 27.6 Degree Celsius. The temperature has been above normal.
