PONDA: One Suresh Naik (55) from Curti was killed on Tuesday night after his two-wheeler collided with a tempo at Khandepar.
The deceased was proceeding from Khandepar on scooter towards his residence in Curti, while the tempo was travelling from Ponda towards Khandepar. The collision took place between the two vehicles at Khandepar. Naik was grievously injured in the mishap. Locals shifted him to PHC Pilem-Dharbandora. However he was declared dead on arrival by the doctor.
