Fatal accident reported at Pernem, 1 killed

A fatal accident was reported along the highway at Naibag, Pernem between a truck and an electric scooter. The rider Vijay Ramakant Gaonkar, aged 48 years, a resident of Sawantwadi, Maharashtra died on the spot. Pernem police apprehended the truck driver Deepak Dubey, a native of Uttar Pradesh.
