MARGAO: Fatorda Police arrested a minor boy for allegedly raping a three-and-half-year-old girl, on Friday. He has been booked under the Section 376 of IPC, Section 8 of Goa Children’s Act and under the Sections of POCSO Act. Bailancho Ekvott has condemned the rape as a “monstrous act”.
According to the police, the incident took place on Wednesday afternoon. The alleged accused, who is also a minor, took the advantage of the absence of the parents of the innocent girl. The Fatorda Police then arrested the alleged accused on the basis of the complaint filed by the parents of the victim.
The medical reports of both the victim and the accused reveal sexual abuse. The minor boy is sent to Apna Ghar protective home. Meanwhile, the NGO Bailancho Ekvott has condemned the horrifying rape of a three-year-old girl child.
