Margao: Fatorda Police have cracked a theft case involving 115 kg of copper strips worth around ₹1.50 lakh, which were allegedly stolen from Goa Gutter Gold Retail Ventures Pvt. Ltd. at Borda, Margao, on August 28, 2026.
A case, registered as Crime No. 46/2026, was filed under Sections 303(2) and 331(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.

During the investigation, police identified the accused as Faizald Khan alias Baba, 28, a resident of Maina, Curtorim, Salcete.
Police subsequently recovered the stolen copper strips from the possession of the accused.
Further investigation is being conducted by PSI Sanil Sawant Dessai under the guidance of PI Rahul Shantaram Naik.
