MARGAO: The Cuncolim Police on Sunday said that four more students will be produced before the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC), Quepem on Monday for recording their statements under Section 164 of the CrPC, in connection with the molestation registered against the suspended Physical Education (PE) teacher of Government High School, Fatorpa.
The police investigations have revealed that the accused PE teacher Ramesh Gaonkar, who is in police custody, allegedly had ‘sexual grooming’ with eight school children.
Earlier, statements of eight students were recorded before the JMFC wherein they stated that the PE teacher allegedly had sexual grooming with them.
Meanwhile, the police are awaiting the report from the psychiatrists of the Institute of Psychiatry and Human Behaviour (IPHB), Bambolim. The police had referred the teacher to the IPHB for examination.
