PANJIM: In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Directorate of Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) has informed the stakeholders concerned, that the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has mandated the online submission of annual returns through Food Safety Compliance System (FoSCoS) for food businesses involved in manufacturing and importing of food products with effect from the Financial Year 2020-21.

The FDA further stated that all licencing authorities have been directed to refrain from insisting on physical submission of annual returns.
