FDA raids Bazarmal angawadi

PONDA: The Directorate of Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) conducted a raid at anganwadi at Bazarmal-Bablyakhali, Upper Bazzar, Ponda and disposed off some food items.
According to reports, some parents of the children studying in the anganwadi had complained to the FDA that the rice and jaggery given to the girl child was spoilt. Acting on the compliant, the FDA officials inspected the premises and disposed off about 60 kgs of rotten rice and jaggery.
