February declared arrears clearance month

The Electricity department has declared the full month of February 2009 as arrears clearance month.
Assistant Engineer, Div VI Santosh Lolienkar has asked all electricity consumers coming under the jurisdiction of Aquem, Davorlim, Housign Board, Gogol housing board, areas near Chowgule college, Manovikas, Borda, Agalli, Murida, Arlem, Fatorda areas near Shantilal, Golwado, Durga petrol pump, Chandrawado, Ambaji areas near KTC Bus stand, Madel, Mungul, Comba, Old Market, Davondem, areas near Santosh Garbage to clear their arrears during the period.
Lolienkar warned that electrical installations will be liable for disconnection without serving any notice under section 24 of the IE Act for failing to clear the arrears.
