VASCO: Mormugao Joint Mamlatdar began the process of moving files and other documents at Civil Supplies Department office to a safer place in the MMC building, thereby creating more space in the congested office.
According to sources at Civil Supplies office, Joint Mamlatdar Vinod Dalal, who has been given the charge of Civil Supplies office, started clearing and shifting the files and other documents that were scattered all over the office, following a report in Herald on July 1.
“Dalal with the help of some labourers started clearing the office on July 2 and the office will be cleared by Friday,” informed the source.
The citizens hope that the MMC chief officer as assured will allot a bigger space for the smooth functioning of the Civil Supplies department.
When contacted, Joint Mamlatdar Dalal said he was recently given charge of the Civil Supplies department and is in the process of clearing and shifting the files and other documents to a safer place.
