PANJIM: The notifications for elections to Lok Sabha seats in the North and South Goa and by-polls to Mandrem, Shiroda and Mapusa Assembly seats will be released today. The nomination process also begins today.
The last date for filing of nomination is on April 4, followed by scrutiny on April 5 and withdrawal on April 8.
As on March 10, 2019; as many as 11, 31,618 voters are eligible to cast their votes for the parliamentary elections whereas for the by-elections, the total voters are 32,129 in Mandrem, 29,103 in Mapusa and 28,919 in Shiroda; and there are also 276 service voters.
