Panjim: After resuming film shootings in Goa, the State has now allowed film/serial/ad crews to shoot within the hospital premises as it has revised the fees that would be charged from the production houses.
“The Government is pleased to revise the fees to be charged from the Film Producers/Production Companies etc for shooting of scenes of film, serials in/or within the premises of Hospitals/Community Health Centres/Primary Health Centres under the Directorate of Health Services (DHS), as per the slots …”a notification states.
The govt will charge Rs 5,000 for 2 hours of shooting, which will rise to Rs 7,000 for 4 hours; Rs 10,000 for eight hours; Rs 15,000 for 12 hours; and Rs 20,000 above 12 hours.
The govt has set convarious strict conditions while shooting in the DHS and its peripheral units. NCDC Chief Medical Officer Dr Rupa Naik is the nodal officer for this.
