MARGAO: With freedom fighter Ram Manohar Lohia’s birth anniversary on March 23 fast approaching, a final deadline of March 15 has been issued to the GSUDA contractor to complete the beautification works of Lohia Maidan at Margao.
On Thursday, Margao MLA Digambar Kamat along with officials of the GSUDA, and members of the Margao Municipal Council inspected the site and said that most of the work is complete.
This is the fourth time a new deadline has been set to complete this project; the last deadline was December 31,2022.
As per the work order, the stipulated date of completion of the long-overdue was February 10, 2022.
