MARGAO: The Department of Transport has finally granted administrative approval for the much-delayed resurfacing of roads inside the KTC bus stand in Margao, which are in a state of disrepair.
Following repeated inspections and advocacy efforts by GOACAN, the approval has been received, bringing satisfaction to the organization.
According to the order issued by Rajan Satardekar, Director of Transport, the government has provided administrative approval for the resurfacing work, sanctioning Rs 8.8 lakh for the purpose.
“Finally, there is progress in addressing the repair needs of the internal roads at Margao KTC Bus Stand,” said Roland Martins, Convenor of GOACAN.
