PONDA: After frequent demands from various associations of Other Backward Classes including Rashtriaya OBC Mahasangh Goa, the State government has finally appointed Adv Manohar Adpoikar, as the chairman of Goa State Commission for Backward Classes, says the order issued by Director of Social Welfare Umeshchandra Joshi, on Monday.
It may be recalled that the post was fallen vacant for the past eight months after resignation of former chairman Adv Vishwas Satarkar, who had resigned on February 3, this year.
