The IRB constable identified as Pritam was posted at the High Court of Bombay at Goa, on security duty. He has also been accused of cheating the Sawantwadi woman, reportedly his second wife.
Sources said the policeman had hidden about his first marriage to the victim with whom he has a child. Though the duo – the accused and the victim stayed at a rented house in Saligao, he continued harassment on her. The department has been on the search, even as his suspension order is likely to come on Wednesday. The case was recently transferred to crime branch.
