PANJIM: A fire broke out at the marine workshop situated at Betim on Monday.
The incident took place after dissolved acetylene gas cylinders ignited within the workshop premises. The fire-fighters immediately rushed to the site and extinguished the flames, averting potential disaster.
Fortunately, no casualties have been reported due to fire. The cause of the fire was not immediately known, informed Porvorim fire brigade sources.
