MARGAO: In view of the Fire Prevention Week being observed from April 14 to 18, GOACAN has asked for urgent fire prevention and safety measures at the Kadamba Transport Corporation Bus Stand at Margao and asked for urgent intervention of the Fire and Emergency services.
In a letter addressed to Director of Fire and Emergency Services Ashok Menon, GOACAN pointed out that maintenance of fire safety equipment is key to mitigate fire hazards and brought to his notice complete lack of any fire prevention or safety measures at the Margao bus stand.
