First Russian charter arrival rescheduled to Nov

Goa Airport Director Dhananjaya Rao on Tuesday said that Azur Airlines which was scheduled to arrive in Goa by mid-October has been cancelled.

PANJIM/VASCO: The first Russian charter flight which was to arrive in October has rescheduled its arrival to November. 

The Russian charter Azure airlines which had applied for October 15 has now withdrawn its previous application for slots and is in the process to reapply for charter arrival in November. 

Ernest Dias, a Goan tour operator told Herald that because the charter operator withdrew its application an impression was given out that they have cancelled. “They are in a process to reapply with a fresh date in November and rest is as per schedule,” he said. 

Goa Airport Director Dhananjaya Rao on Tuesday said that Azur Airlines which was scheduled to arrive in Goa by mid-October has been cancelled. According to Rao, Azur Airlines had asked for slots for October and was supposed to bring charters from Russia to Goa. They had booked around 13 slots for Goa and the first Azur Airlines flight was supposed to arrive on Tuesday but these flights have now been cancelled.
