A fishing trawler from Betim jetty which was anchored at Campal, ran aground at Miramar beach, Thursday night. Due to a weather warning by the MET department, the trawler was anchored at Campal and the 36-crew members were unable to venture into the sea for a catch.

Unfortunately, the trawler lost anchor and drifted to Miramar beach. The crew were rescued by traditional fishermen from Caranzalem.
