Anjuna Police have arrested five persons for their alleged involvement in the rape of a minor girl at Siolim.
Anjuna Police have arrested Mayur Toraskar, Samir Dabholkar, Mukund Shirodker, Nilesh Pomburkar and B Haldankar on charges of raping a minor girl at Siolim.
Police have also attached the Maruti car, which was involved in the heinous crime, and sealed the house.
According to Anjuna Police, the persons involved in the rape case picked up the girl forcibly in the Maruti car and spent the night in an old house at Siolim on July 8 and dropped her home the next day.
The victim’s parents filed a complaint with Anjuna Police on July 10.
Acting on the complaint, Anjuna Police arrested five persons on July 11. Police is investigating the case further.
