MARGAO: Villagers of Carmona gathered outside the panchayat office to eagerly see the replies posted by five candidates to their Charter of Demands. While candidates of Congress, AAP, GVP and independents Judith and Caitu filed their written replies, Goa Su-raj Party abstained from replying. However, NCP candidate Churchill Alemao had publicly acknowledged the Charter of Demands as very positive initiative and promised all out support to their demands if elected.
We hope the next MLA and the panchayat work together to achieve overall development of the village guided by the Charter asserted Allwyn Jorge.
