The Anjuna Police arrested five more persons in Ambolim on the charge of allegedly stabbing Ravi Shirodkar from Calangute. The police also arrested Shailesh Naik of Camurlim-Bardez, Sidhant Mandrekar and Aman Shirodkar, both from Saligao and Prashant Raju of Nagoa. The police had earlier arrested prime accused Tarzan Parsekar of Saligao after the FIR was lodged against all the assailants.

SDPO Jivba Dalvi said that various police teams formed under the supervision of North Goa SP Shobit Saksena arrested the absconding accused from various parts of Goa. The accused are presently in police custody and will be produced before the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC), Mapusa for remand on Monday
