PERNEM: Pernem police arrested five waiters of Sea Breeze Bar and Restaurant, Armabol, for allegedly assaulting four tourists from Kolhapur at.
According to Pernem police, four tourists from Kolhapur had lunch at Sea Breeze, after which a waiter gave them a bill. However, the tourists disputed the bill amount leading to an argument. Soon the waiter was joined by four other waiters, who in a fit of anger assaulted the four tourists with slaps, fist blows, kicks and an iron rod. The tourists suffered injuries in the assault.
Pernem police have booked the five waiters under Sections 143, 147, 148, 323, 504 and 506 (ii) read with Section 149 of IPC.
