PONDA: Following a report published in the O Heraldo March 16 edition regarding closure of service road without proper signboards, the officials have installed road closure signboards on service road on Curti Khandepar – Ponda NH Highway.
Local activist Viraj Sapre, who had raised this issue after a news published by O Heraldo, the road closure sign boards were put up at various locations on Saturday, March 18 for informing the public.
He thanked the newspaper for highlighting this issue. He said locals were forced to face hardship due to closure of road, without informing about road diversion for sewerage work.
