A massive fire erupted at footwear showroom at the Osia complex in Margao which resulted in a considerable loss of stock.

complex Margao caught fire in the wee hours of Tuesday morning. Firefighters immediately
doused the fire preventing further loss. Fortunately, no casualties were
reported in this incident.
The incident that happened in the wee hours of Tuesday at around 3.30 am, in the shoe store resulted in massive
damage and loss to the owner. According to the owner the fire may have started due to a short circuit in the electrical system of the shop. Immediately fire and emergency services were informed. Upon receiving
the call the team arrived in no time and doused the fire preventing further
loss and damage. The exact figure of loss is not estimated yet.
