PORVORIM: Deprived of the honorarium for the past one-and-a-half years, the old beneficiaries of the Griha Aadhar scheme have requested the government to clear their dues.
The scheme was initiated by former chief minister late Manohar Parrikar to extend financial support to women belonging to low-income groups.
The scheme, that doles out Rs 1500 per month was undergoing a process of updation of records to weed out people not eligible for the support.
